Welcome to the Faculty of Science and Technology (FoST), Far Western University, Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur, Nepal. This is a place where science and technology converge to inspire innovation and excellence. Currently, FoST comprises the Department of Computer Science and Technology (CSIT) and the Department of General Sciences (B.Sc.). Under the Department of Computer Science and Technology, we offer undergraduate degrees in B.Sc. CSIT and BIT,along with a graduate degree in M.Sc. CSIT and M.Sc. Environmental Science and Management. Established in 2010, it stands as a pioneering academic and research institution in Nepal. It is founded on the principle of convergence and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Since its inception, the FoST has become a dynamic hub for creativity,research, and innovation. Visionary faculty members, dedicated researchers, and passionate students drive this progress. They are unafraid to explore new frontiers of knowledge. Together, they transform ideas into impact ful discoveries that address real-world challenges.
