Welcome to the Faculty of Science and Technology (FoST), Far WesternUniversity, Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur, Nepal. This is a place where science andtechnology converge to inspire innovation and excellence. Currently, FoSTcomprises the Department of Computer Science and Technology (CSIT) and theDepartment of General Sciences (B.Sc.). Under the Department of ComputerScience and Technology, we offer undergraduate degrees in B.Sc. CSIT and BIT,along with a graduate degree in M.Sc. CSIT. Established in 2010, itstands as a pioneering academic and research institution in Nepal. It isfounded on the principle of convergence and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Since its inception, the FoST has become a dynamic hub for creativity,research, and innovation. Visionary faculty members, dedicated researchers, andpassionate students drive this progress. They are unafraid to explore newfrontiers of knowledge. Together, they transform ideas into impactfuldiscoveries that address real-world challenges.
